Do you enjoy a good discount? How about the convenience of being able to gift something you know someone special in your life enjoys? Oh…and are you a gift giver, either during the holiday season or as part of a special occasion? If you answered YES to these questions AND you or someone you know is into the collector car hobby, then Carlisle Events has the deal of the year just for you! The annual Carlisle Events Holiday Sale returns in 2023 with savings, convenience, and even gift cards!
Holiday Sale 2023/24 starts at 8 AM on Friday, November 24 (Black Friday) and runs through Tuesday, January 2 at 5 PM. During the run of the sale, those who buy will be doing so at a 20% savings on Showfield or Fun Field registrations, single-day spectator admission tickets, event passes, and the best value of them all, season passes. Regardless of what is bought, savings are key, especially for a season pass. Season passes are regularly $89.99 and are best for those who attend multiple events as a spectator; someone who walks the grounds to look at the show cars and trucks or purchase items within the automotive flea market. During the sale, they’ll be available for just $71.99 ($69.99 for AACA members), meaning you can walk through the gates for an average of around $2.00 per day. Season pass access also means entry to events away from Carlisle, like Auto Mania in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and a pair of classic/collector car auctions in Lakeland, Florida.
If a season pass isn’t a viable option, then single-day spectator admission tickets or multi-day spectator event passes may be the right option for you. Those too will be offered at a 20% discount and with single-day options per show ranging from $10 to $20 depending on the event, a few dollars’ worth of savings means more money to enjoy the finer aspects of the event itself.
Season passes and spectator admission savings are one thing, but what about savings for those who show off a car or truck? This is also an option and that means showgoers can help populate the grounds with decades of past, present, and future classics while saving 20% along the way. This is the deepest discount option available and includes having all relevant event paperwork mailed in the weeks leading up to a specific show, including a window sticker.
All new for this year’s sale, Green Mountain Monograms, the official operator of the Carlisle Store in Building T, will have a gallery of Carlisle 50th items for sale, the option to order an event shirt from past years, a collectible coin for the 50th, and more. For their merchandise catalog, visit them online today. Shop their e-store, make a purchase, and just like that, you have yet another way to give the gift of a Carlisle car event.
Finally, back by popular demand for the holiday sale, gift cards! Gift cards will be available and can be loaded with any denomination of money. Instead of just giving someone the gift of tickets or show access, they can offer up options that may translate to booking vending spaces for the automotive flea market, a visit to the Carlisle Store for merchandise, the concessions area for food, parking, transactions related to Carlisle Auctions, etc. These gift cards will be processed just like a credit card and can be given in a stylish holiday-themed card holder or a generic Carlisle Events holder (while holder supplies last). Gift cards are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, and more.
Online sales for all discount options commence on Black Friday, with orders starting November 24 at 8 AM. Phone and in-person ordering options run during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM) from November 27 through December 22, with only online orders available thereafter (Carlisle offices closed for the holidays). Anything ordered on or before December 19 will be mailed, with mailings resuming January 2 once the Carlisle offices re-open for 2024.
Call 717-243-7855 today to learn more or visit www.CarlisleEvents.com starting November 24 to accelerate your purchase! The annual Carlisle Events holiday sale...capitalize on the savings and give the gift of Carlisle this holiday season.

Carlisle Events and its world-famous events have been a staple in automotive circles for decades, and as Carlisle looks towards 2024 and its 50th Anniversary Season, the drive train behind America’s Automotive Hometown are pleased to announce an enhanced season-long partnership with Hemmings, the world’s largest collector car marketplace.
For 70 years (1954) Hemmings has been growing and uplifting the collector car community, while for 50 years (1974) Carlisle Events and its car events at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds have been “the holy grail” of automotive destinations for car lovers from around the world. In 2023, Hemmings and Carlisle Events partnered in a variety of ways, including Hemmings presenting the Hemmings Club Challenge awards at select events, while also offering support for private events such as the per-show celebrity luncheons.
Now, in 2024, Hemmings is excited to return to Carlisle as the Presenting Sponsor for Spring and Fall Carlisle while continuing the ever popular, Hemmings Club Challenge.
Spring Carlisle is the first Carlisle-based event on the 50th Anniversary season schedule and it’s also the biggest all-around event at Carlisle. The annual Spring offering takes place April 17-21, while Fall Carlisle wraps up the Carlisle schedule and takes place October 2-6. Each event welcomes thousands of vendors selling millions of automotive parts, collectibles, merchandise, and more. These two events have been the perfect book-end car events for the nearly 200,000 guests who trek to Carlisle, either to jump-start automotive events season or take advantage of one last shopping opportunity prior to the cooler months of fall and winter. In total, nearly a half million guests will pass through the gates of the fairgrounds and these enthusiasts will be welcomed by one of the most iconic and timeless brands within our hobby celebrating their 70th Anniversary, Hemmings.
“The Hemmings brand is synonymous with the automotive hobby. The fact that they’ve been in business for 70 years shows the depth of their popularity and relevance to automotive enthusiasts, builders, buyers, and sellers,” said Ed Scholly, Director of Business & Event Development for Carlisle Events.
“The Hemmings company and staff share many of the same goals and interests as Carlisle Events. We see a productive future in bringing our events together with the media and market interests of Hemmings.com and Hemmings Media,” added Scholly. “I can undoubtedly say that we are thrilled to work with such a great company and team like Hemmings as they present our Spring and Fall automotive flea market events for the next two years as well as support the Club Challenge and event gatherings throughout the season at Carlisle,” continued Scholly. “As they celebrate 70 years and we celebrate 50 years, it’s fair to say that our individual pasts have forged a path forward to the present, with a brighter future together!”
“We look forward to celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Carlisle Events and the 70th Anniversary of Hemmings at the iconic Spring and Fall Carlisle events and to sponsoring the beloved Hemmings Club Challenge,” said Hemmings President, Jonathan Shaw. “This partnership is a testament to our unwavering commitment to grow and uplift the collector car community by bringing together enthusiasts from all corners of the country to celebrate our shared love for cars and the rich culture that surrounds them."

Last year Carlisle Events and area Lions Clubs came together to raise $10,000 which benefitted the Carlisle branch of the Salvation Army and ultimately lent itself to support Ukrainian relief efforts. For 2023, the Lions/Carlisle Events relationship continued, this time with the cause being more personal to the Lions Clubs; their International Disaster Relief Fund.
Carlisle Events is pleased to share that spanning just five events in 2023, the dedicated team of Lions volunteers netted $7,034.76. This total translates to approximately $41 per hour/per event for the Lions and reflects the continued giving nature of car show guests of Spring Carlisle, the Carlisle Ford Nationals, Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, Corvettes at Carlisle, and Fall Carlisle.
100% of donated dollars go directly to disaster relief efforts around the world, with no administrative or overhead cost being removed. In a year filled with a variety of domestic disasters including fires in Hawaii, tornados in the mid-west, flooding in various locations, and even major snowfalls, the Disaster Relief Fund by way of the Lions Club was there to render aid to those in need.
Lions Club members who participated in 2023 came from different clubs from Lions District 14-C. These clubs included Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Mt. Holly Springs, Jacksonville (Walnut Bottom), Shippensburg, The Brogue Community Lions, Newville, and Stewartstown.
“It has been an honor working with Carlisle Events to raise donations for such a great cause as Lions International Disaster Relief,” said Ray Highlands, from the Carlisle Lions Club and current Zone Chair. “Lions in just July, August, and September of this year provided $1.6 million in disaster relief efforts to 92 different locations, such as the Wildfires in Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada, flood relief in New York, Vermont, and even here in Pennsylvania, along with a response to earthquakes, typhoons, floods, and more around the world,” continued Highlands. “Everything Lions does to help their communities is directed through the more than 48,000 clubs in over 200 countries to ensure the assistance gets to where it needs to be.”
Not only are the Lions Club members pleased with the giving ways of the car show guests, but Carlisle Events co-owner Bill Miller Jr. appreciates them too, plus the hard work put in by the Lions throughout the season.
“Lions Club members have been an important part of our events the past two seasons,” noted Miller. “Their friendly nature at our gates compelled countless guests to donate and support those in need, first with our Salvation Army/Ukrainian Relief Efforts in 2022, then with their Lions International Disaster Relief efforts in 2023,’ continued Miller. “I look forward to welcoming them back to Carlisle in 2024 and can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.”
Attending a car show at Carlisle isn’t just a great way to support those in need, it’s an affordable family outing. Kids 12 and under are always admitted free at Carlisle and for details on vendor or Showfield registration, event specifics, or to purchase discounted spectator admission tickets, call 717-243-7855 or visit CarlisleEvents.com.

That’s a wrap! What started in January with Auto Mania at the Allentown Fairgrounds concluded in grand fashion at the end of September with Fall Carlisle at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. In fact, this wasn’t just any Fall Carlisle (September 27-October 1), it was the 50th offering of Carlisle Events’ flagship automotive flea market event.
The five-day event included the standard automotive flea market and car corral frenzy as well as a two-day collector car auction at the Carlisle Expo Center presented by Carlisle Auctions. The auction, which took place September 28-29, saw 58% of the 400+ consignments sell and tallied $4.5 million in sales. Of those sales, a 1966 Shelby GT350H, selling for $210,600 earned top dollar.
In addition, Fall Carlisle welcomed the AACA Car Club to the stage to showcase a gallery of cars, solicit for new club members, and promote events they support in the region. Other display elements included the Shop Art Gallery in Building T. This area was for artists who repurpose discarded car parts and turn them into works of art. In addition to this dedicated area, there was a lot of Shop Art available within the flea market as well. Also found within the flea market were numerous Anymotive vendors. Anymotive vending features items that have a motor but aren’t cars. This may include bikes, tractors, boats, lawnmowers, etc.
There were also some extra special happenings on Saturday of Fall Carlisle. Once again, gates opened at 7 AM and in doing so, ushered in guests who, for a variety of reasons, could not be part of the event in the preceding days. As the morning transitioned to mid-day, Carlisle Events and American Collectors Insurance welcomed Paul Teutul Jr. and Paul Jr. Designs to unveil a custom-built 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. Following the unveiling, Teutul hung around to meet fans, sign autographs, and answer guests’ questions about the car and his career.
Paul Jr.’s appearance at Fall Carlisle wasn’t the only special part of the day, as around 6 PM vendors came together for an annual private event that celebrates them and their continued support of all events at Carlisle, especially Spring and Fall Carlisle. What made this dinner even more special was it served as a celebration not only for the 50th of Fall Carlisle, complete with two dozen or so original vendors from show one but also as a surprise 80th birthday party for Carlisle Events co-founder and co-owner Bill Miller Jr. (his birthday is in December). Family and friends came together to share stories, reminisce, and even shed a few tears of joy as Bill became the man of the hour!
With Fall Carlisle and its two-day collector car auction in the rearview mirror, plans are underway for the last auction of the year in Lakeland, Florida as well as the entirety of the upcoming 2024 season schedule. In fact, Fall Carlisle 2023 served as the soft launch for Carlisle’s year-long 50th Celebration in 2024. Complete details on the 2024 Carlisle Events season can be found at CarlisleEvents.com. The 2024 season starts just after the holidays, with Auto Mania (January 19-21, 2024) at the Allentown Fairgrounds. By the way, Spring Carlisle 2024 gets things going in central PA from April 17-21, while Fall Carlisle 2024 is October 2-6.

In the early 2000’s one of the most popular build shows on TV was American Chopper on Discovery Channel. At its core, American Chopper was about family, fun, and building and designing unique creations (mostly motorcycles). Nearly two decades later, the Teutul’s are still part of American culture, specifically through Paul Teutul Jr. and his company Paul Teutul Jr. Designs.
Over the past two years, Paul Jr Designs and his team have been working behind the scenes on a custom-built car, sponsored by American Collectors Insurance. This latest Paul Jr. Designs creation is scheduled to be unveiled for the first time anywhere at Fall Carlisle, the 50th offering of the iconic automotive event.
Fall Carlisle, one of the largest automotive flea market events in the world, features a car corral and a two-day collector car auction hosted by Carlisle Auctions. The event(s) take place September 27-October 1 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, with the auction on Thursday and Friday, September 28-29, at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center. With so much happening across the five days, it’s Saturday, September 30th that showgoers will want to pay special attention to.
The unveiling is sponsored by American Collectors Insurance and is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Carlisle stage. Stop by for the reveal, learn all about the build from Teutul himself, and hear about how this project got started from our friends at American Collectors Insurance. Following the unveiling, lucky enthusiasts will have a chance for a FREE meet & greet with Teutul until 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to snap photos of the car once it's unveiled and join The Spirit of an American Collector hashtag contest for a chance to win Paul Teutul Jr. signed merchandise!
American Collectors Insurance is the Official Collector Car Insurance Partner of Carlisle Events. They have been protecting classic and collector cars with Agreed Value insurance since 1976.
All referenced times are EST, including the 7 a.m. daily gates opening time for Fall Carlisle 2023. Adult tickets are $13 at the gate, but cheaper online if purchased in advance. Further, parking in all Carlisle affiliated lots is $10, with kids 12 and under admitted for free. Vending and car corral spots are still available for this final event on the record-setting 2023 Carlisle Events schedule. Finally, 2024 season passes are available at all points of entry and within the Vendor Services building for just $89.99. In addition to gaining access to all 2024 events (including auctions) in the new year, each pass bought at Fall Carlisle yields a special bonus; that being a full-event event pass for Fall Carlisle 2023.
